Post Op total knee preferred antibiotic

What is your preferred post operative IV antibiotic and what would you send the patient home with? As far as preoperatively I would just utilize 1 gram of ancef 30 minutes prior but what would you use in the post operative period and then what would you send the patient home with?

1 gm ancef q 8h x 24 hours. Unless allergic to PCN or Cephalosporins then go with vanc 1gm IV q 12h x 24 hours. Some send no antibiotics home some go home with keflex 500mg QID x 7-10 days. If allergic then Levoquin 500mg BID x 7-10 days. This is my routine I'm sure it varies.
