post university grad taking cc courses?

I already graduated from a four year university and cannot find a job for the life of me.

Would it be beneficial at all to take science courses at a community college?
( to show that I am at least doing something)
Courses like anatomy/ microbio. ( not grad level)

I think it's better off for you to do a special master's program or post-bac so then you can improve your gpa. Yes; I know that it's costly but going to CC in my opinion will be waste of money. If you're going to spend then I believe it's much more productive and beneficial for you to attend a graduate school and earn an extra degree and improve your gpa. But if this doesn't sound good then I recommend you to go abroad and volunteer or be involved in research.

If you applied with a downward grade trend, then more coursework would be helpful. But as you know, California schools particularly seem to look down on CC classes, so you could not afford to get any less than an A. If cost or distance would be prohibitive, that might be an acceptable excuse for not going to a 4-year school for unofficial postbac work.

Rather than upper-level science, you could also consider taking EMT, CNA, phlebotomy, etc type classes toward getting a certification that would help you find work.

I hope you're continuing to augment your activities with continued involvement since you applied.

This is not really an attempt to improve my GPA. I am not taking these courses so I can apply for the next cycle. I am already applying this cycle. I just wish to do something productive while I can't find a job , and wanted to know if this would look favorably if I told interviewers that I am taking science courses while looking for a job.

I am currently in interview season, and have went on a couple of interviews already. Out of state: Drexel, nymc,
