The Department of Psychiatry of Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), in conjunction with Hackensack Meridian Health, is offering a one year, full-time postdoctoral fellowship training opportunity. JSUMC is a private non-profit hospital located in Neptune, NJ equidistant from New York and Philadelphia and only minutes from the Jersey Shore!
Fellows will have the opportunity to work in variety of clinical settings, including inpatient acute psychiatry, adult outpatient therapy, child and adolescent IOP, child and adolescent outpatient therapy, and hospital wide consultation and liaison alongside our skilled medical team members. Speciality placements will also include opportunities in geriatrics, addiction and recovery services, emergency psychiatric services, to name a few. Postdocs will also have the opportunity to supervise interns and externs and will be part of the psychiatry residency didactic training series and the Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds.
No nights, no weekends. Full time (40 hours), full benefits package. Generous PTO. Meal card with $15/day allowance.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have fulfilled requirements for a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, including completion of internship.
