Power tripping professors..

This semester has me pulling my hair out and screaming. It's no different from any other semester I have taken, credit wise, but the professors.. oh god..

Does anyone have advice to stay motivated and sane when dealing with god awful professors?

Some success stories would be great, too. I feel so hopeless right now.

What kind of awful professors? Unnecessary harsh grading, thick accent/don't know what he's talking about, crappy attitude/don't want to talk to you?

i feel the same man. my evolution prof is the worst ever 9(lecture wise), lazy and slow as turtles.
you better off teach your self and youtube.

I had a professor that would go through 100+ power point slides in a 50 min time period for every lecture. Needless to say, it was impossible to tell what was important and what wasn't; his exams were extremely hard and the class averages were around a 55.

Luckily he curved and I ended up with an A- (I think I had around a 75 or so pre-curve), but I really just had to try by best and pray for a good outcome.

If you think you're gonna get lower than a c, I would just drop it and retake if you can. A withdrawal looks a lot better than and F and a forever-reduced GPA.

Each one of my professors this semester seems to be driving me up a wall in their own twisted style. Top 3:

Histology: Exams are vague open ended questions, basically a shot in the dark here. Ensures the class that everyone will do awful on the first exam, which was true. Offers office hours to basically ridicule you, no help whatsoever. States there will not be a curve while 99% of the class is failing... all with a smile on his stupid face.

Writing: This professor try's to play the role of "Hank Moody" from Caliaforniacation, but just comes off as a ****. Hates people with science based backgrounds. Continuously speaks about the importance of writing while categorizing natural science majors as being "full of themselves." Harsh grader.

Organic Chemistry: I legitimately can not understand a word she says.

We've all been there bro. Sucks you have 3 at once. Just got grind bro. Hit the books, get on Youtube. Dont let these power tripping clowns with tenure hold you back. Its easy to be a pompous arrogant prick when you have tenure and are surrounded by kids fresh out of highschool. Work F*ing harder. Stay motivated. If ya get too stressed go pull some heavy deads, take a few shots of whiskey, get frisky with ya girl and rest ya mind. Get back on it the next day. 100% everyday, no days off.
