The next time someone says that as a DO, you have to say goodbye to competitive specialties, please link them to this thread where we can inform them that a DO student just matched dermatology at the Mayo Clinic, several matched allo radiology and radiology oncology, ortho, and even allo neurosurgery.

also note that DOs have their own group of residencies :, that MDs can't apply to.
