To anyone applying for admissions to dental school next fall or anytime after that...Give it all you have when it comes time to applying yourself for studying or applying for admission into the program. In the end you will find that it was worth every night that you stayed up worrying about if you will get in or not, or worrying about what you will do if you don't make it in. The worst time for any applicant and I belive many will attest to this is the application part. I hated it! But I look back now that I have been accepted and it was worth it so worth it that I would do it all over again...yea right!! Stay focused and do not look at any stats of people applying and bla bla. Good Luck to you all!!

Thanks for the advice UofM01!!

thanks and congrats on your nova choice

Thanks for the advice, I will be applying for 2004 admission. For now, I'm only worrying about getting my gpa up to a presentable range (currently 3.145). Also studying hard for DAT and plan to shadow a dentist this summer.
Is there any tips on studying DATs or what you are suppose to do on shadowing a dentist? I know you don't get paid, but do they feed you?

Chucky,,

Keep up your good work. Just keep in mind that the better you do on that DAT, odds are you will be able to PICK the school of your choice. As far as shadowing a dentist, just go in there and look at the procedures while he/she is doing them and try to pick up whatever you can. It should be something you can do on your free time. I actually ended up working for the guy and was paid a decent wage. Good Luck and Stay focused. by the way if hes a cool dentist he will feed ya!! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />
