I have a question about prelim surgery spots, so if any knows please help.
If you look at last years match info for specific programs, under the prelim surgery numbers. Sometimes you see programs that have 6 unfilled spots. My questions are these:
1. Do these programs intend on filling all 6 spots per year, or do they just always have more spots than they intend on filling in the match?
2. Do these programs most likely just intend on filling them in the scramble/soap and do not even attempt to fill them during the regular match?
3. Is there any info on post scramble numbers for filled or unfilled spots?
