Does anyone have (or thinking about applying for) primary care loans through the department of health and human services? I know you have to apply through your school and its need based(including parents income) but do you know how much need you have to have? Also, if you decide not to practice primary care, there is an 18% interest from "time of noncompliance". Does anyone know if they will charge 18% from when you first got the loan or when you end up doing a different residency? I'm 99% sure I want to do primary care, but I'm just trying to make sure I know what I'm getting into. Thanks!
