Depends on if the PC sports doc is working for for an orthopod! Depends on who is employing the doc or PA and what the terms of their contract are. If the Sports doc has her/his own office and refers to Ortho then their absolutely is a difference. If the sports doc just does patient pre and post op exams then a PA is probably all you need.
