    i heard alot bout how kaplan verbals horrible and EK and TPR are good.. but when u guys r talking about the verbal workbook r they the classroom material that u get when u pay $1500+ for the class?? so these verbal practice (other than EK) has to be bought on ebay or from other people?? thanks!

    Most of the verbal practice you are going to find will be on ebay, yes. There may be another book or two available at your local bookstore, but the reliability of this material is unknown. Try to stick to the major companies (Official AAMC stuff, TPR, TBR, EK) for materials.

    Kaplan's verbal isn't the best, but ANY verbal practice is good. If this is all you can get your hands on, by all means, get it. Just study it knowing that your standardized scores on Kaplan verbal may be different than what you're going to get on the real thing.
