hey towlie, did you get the call today?
hey towlie, did you get the call today?
Nope... yesterday. I doubt they will be calling anyone today or tomorrow.
Just be patient, Yes/Yes is definitely a good sign.
They seem to prefer to keep Yes/No for rejections, and Yes/Unknown for waitlists.
so has pritzker pretty much kept to their 6-8 week schedule? should i be worried if i don't get some news exactly when it strikes 8 weeks, or should i relax?
Don't worry. It took them longer than 8 weeks to tell me anything.
Donks, when were you complete at Pritzker? I'm still waiting for a status change.
10/26
My status for "Interview Decision" changed sometime over Thanksgiving. I called them today and they informed me that I wouldn't be offered an interview this year....
Good luck to everyone else.
Anyone with an October interview heard anything from Pritzker yet or have their status change to Yes/Yes?
I interviewed on September 26th and still have no word on a final decision; my status still says yes/no.

mine says that now too. i really wish the letter would come in the mail because i don't want to bother their office staff. perhaps this move is to encourage people to stop checking the status page.
for people that interviewed, did u stay in international house? what kind of amenities did they have for interviewees? Thanks

I stayed there. It's like a dorm. Kind of gross--you have to share a bathroom. They do have a TV in the room and they give you towels and soaps.
I stayed there...was not that bad...the bathrooms were at least very clean when I was there...the room is small but it has what you need...it is only one night and its cheap compared to hotels around there so I reccomend it
Thanks! i really wanted to know if i should bring my own soap so this helps.
congrats T. and good luck Falco
hi y'all,
my post is a little off topic 🙄 but i was wondering what other people thought about pritzker during their visit. i interviewed there in mid october and while i LOVED the school, thought that the facilities were amazing, the curriculum was cool, i was a little disappointed when talking with some of the students. they didn't seem happy at all and appeared to be overly stressed (there wasn't an upcoming exam looming in the near future either) did anyone else sense this? i'm just curious because i'm hoping i had the wrong impression of the pritzker students.
anyways, i am ALSO still waiting to hear back from them.
so has anybody gotten a letter from Pritzker, acceptance or otherwise? I mean, if they have known our status for over two weeks, what's holding up the letter sending?
Um... but I've already interviewed. Does anyone have a clue about this???
I checked my status (as I do every day!) and this came up this time:
Application Status Page

Congratulations! You have been invited for an on-campus interview. Within the next 3 business days you will be receiving an email from Audrey Sparks letting you know further details about the interview process and a range of possible dates for your visit. We are looking forward to meeting you in person!
All admissions decisions will be communicated directly to you using the contact information provided in your AMCAS application. The Application Status Portal will allow you to learn more quickly whether you will be invited to interview on campus. Final acceptance decisions made by the Committee on Admissions post-interview will NOT be reflected on the Application Status Portal. You may learn through the Portal whether a decision has been made, but the decision itself will be communicated directly from our office.
For additional questions about your application, please email the Admissions Office
my status just went from "No/No" to "No, a decision has not been made/No". Is this a ******ed way of saying i'm on pre-interview hold?

I love Chicago and their facilities, but am not crazy about the long lecture hours, class ranking, and low board scores.
[lots of words]
...and there is 2-3 hours of lecture a day.
Not according to everything we're told throughout the interview day. The first block has lectures from 8-5, with the lectures reducing to 8-3 by the end of the first year. At least, this is how I remember it.
Anyway, the acceptance phone call just came in (interviewed 10/26)! Looks like I'll have some fun choices ahead of me. What's the University of Chicago's mascot? That's important stuff to consider.
