Prospective DO-how do students balance studying for STEP and COMLEX simultaneously

Hello,
I am applying to DO schools and am wondering how it works when studying for TWO board exams simultaneously.
Studying for MCAT was a full-time job, so I'm concerned and a bit confused as to how medical students study for both simultaneously and take them both the Step and Comlex days apart?

For the most part, they have the same content except for the OMM part of COMLEX. Usually people just study for USMLE, take it first, then add a few days (less than a week) of OMM review and take COMLEX.
