Are any of you familiar with things like diplomonads, parabasalids, euglenozoa etc.? I'm going over the protozoan section in my textbook and I wonder if I should even bother with this.

i would know the major protist groups, thats about it...like animal protists, photosynthetic protists, fungal protists...

Like major groups would be good to know as well like dinoflagelletes are photosynthetic protists that are under algal protists...

Myxomycota (plasmodial slime molds), Acrasioycota (cellular slime molds), oomycota (water molds) are all under fungal protists...those are prob good ones to know.
