How common is it to get reimbursed per unit? Is this type of pay exclusive to home health?
I recently received a job offer in an outpatient setting with compensation based on patients per week. At the end of the month you would also get an additional "bonus" depending on how aggressively you had billed units for those patients. I didn't accept the offer because I was unfamiliar and uncomfortable with that compensation schedule.
