Are they very familiar knowledge-based like EK 30 min lecture exams where you can often do problems even without reading the passages or are the real passages hard so that reading is indispensable? I am sure there are qs outside of independent questions that ask specific facts/concepts not explicitly stated in the passage but I was curious how far off from the real MCAT the EK 30min lecture bio passages are. Are some passages familiar and some really really hard that it's like learning new concepts from reading passages? Are stuff that's discussed in the passages more or less what we need to know for the MCAT? What/how did you prepare/learn to do well on those passages that you were not familiar with?
For those who have taken the MCAT, please let me know. Thank you very much for all your help in advance!
