I want to send an update letter to some schools I've been wait listed at. In addition to working part time this past semester I took two classes and received and an A and a B. These two grades didn't move my GPA at all and I was wondering if I am required to tell schools what I got in both of these classes when I send them an update. For FWIW both courses were listed as future courses on my AMCAS. Also, does anyone have a sample update letter they could share? I've used the search function ad nauseam and found some in people MDApps but they were more like LOI rather than update letters. Thanks for the help guys!

i would include all grades or no grades, you can't cherry pick to make yourself look better--thats deceptive.

sample:

To the XXXXX school of medicine's committee on admissions:

I would like to update my application with some recent events.

paragraph 1: Talk about event 1 (what you did, why it was meaningful, what you learned)

paragraph 2: Talk about event 2...

paragraph n: Talk about event n

paragraph n+1 (optional): reiterate interest in school, why you would be a great fit, etc

sincerely,
