What are all the trig formulas we have to know....I know

sin^2 + cos^2 = 1

sin/cos = tan

What are the others???? I always get these problems wrong on practice tests.. Where can i find all the formulas we should know?

I studied trig like crazy and don't recall any of it on the DAT any harder than SOHCAHTOA and the inverse functions. I know there's trig all over the practice tests and I freaked out about it all to no avail.

What is the easiest way to learn/calculate the inverse functions? Is learning the unit circle the only way?

I think it's the easiest. Learning the unit circle isn't really that hard guys...all you really have to know is one quadrant, and that ALL Students haTe Calculus. That mnemonic tells you what functions are positive in which quadrant (1,2,3,4)

that's kinda a cool mnemonic. 👍 is this out of the kaplan book? i've never heard it.

or... All Student Take Calculus.

I dont get the mnemonic 😕

All Students Take Calculus =
"A"ll trig functions are positive when the angle is in the first quadrant,
"S"ine is positive when the angle is in the second quadrant (all other functions are negative),
"T"angent is positive when the angle is in the third quadrant (all other functions are negative),
"C"osine is positive when the angle is in the fourth quadrant (all other functions are negative).

The quadrants are counted off counter-clockwise starting with the upper left quadrant.

Just a slight correction to this posting. The quadrants are counted off counterclockwise but starting in the upper right.

tan^2 + 1 = sec^2
1 + cot^2 = csc^2
You can find the formulas in Kaplan study book.
