damn, i was hoping that s/he would start declining acceptances and there would be slots opening up for me.

yes, you can have multiple acceptances. but you've got until may 15th to pick 1 (although i think the way it works is that you can stay on multiple waitlists after may 15, but only have 1 acceptance.) congratulations, and good luck.
