When programs rank the candidates they interviewed, do they base their decisions solely on interviews alone or do they go back and look at other things such CV, rotations, letters of recommendation, etc.?
Also, just out of curiosity... let's say if a program interviewed about 40 candidates for 4 resident spots, does the program rank all 40 candidates and send the entire list to the match or do they only rank a small # of candidates and send a short list to the match?
Thanks very much!
