Hi guys,

I am currently studying the dental decks and I was wondering what other study material anyone else used besides Kaplan. Also, is one month sufficient to score at least 85 percentile on the boards.

Thanks,
Rich

I really liked the dental decks since they focus on the basics, which comprise most of the exam. I think it is more efficient to know all the easy/basic concepts well than trying to learn deeper science. I also have been using old tests pretty heavily. This is a good indication of progress and I just Wikipedia everything i dont know.

Whether you get an 85 depends on how smart you are, how hard you worked up until now and how focused you are during that month. I think too many people slack off during the first 2 years of school and expect to get a good score because they studied hard a month before the exam. But for most people, a month is enough and an 85 is very doable. You start to forget things that you learned after a month and plus you will begin to get burnt out if you prolong it too long.

Thanks for the tips. It is good to know that it is doable within a month.
