Hi I am currently going UCLA as a junior biochem.
I know a lot of dental school requires a year of biology which
represent LS1~4 in UCLA.
Here is a description of the each class
LS1: Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity
LS2: Cells, Tissues, and Organs
LS3: Introduction to Molecular Biology
LS4: Genetics
I have already taken LS2~4 which is a year of a biology but i heard from
someone that the LS4 does not count as a year of biology becase this
course did not have a lab. So I am thinking of taking LS1.
The thing is that I can take LS1 class as P/NP.
Here is my question.
Do you guys thinkg that i have to take LS1 to fullfill my pre-requisite for
the dental school?
Is it really bad to take a LS1 class as P/NP? Do they consider as a "C"
in terms of grade?
Thanks
