Hey guys,

I have a couple quick q's about step 1. I know step 1 consist somewhere around 350 questions divided into 7 sections plus lunch. FA also has 7 sections. And somewhere along the line, I got the impression that anatomy, biochem, path, pharm, phys, BS, micro-immuno, are all weighted equally across the sections. As in 50 q's for each topic, is this a wrong assumption?
If so, then what would you say is the section that you remember getting the most questions?

I am deciding on a path book to use. I don't know which is better, BRS path or Goljan's Path by STARS or Goljan's Rapid Path review or PathCards. any suggestions?

thanx!

that is a wrong assumption. They are not equally tested.

Our guru's at our school tell us that at least 50% is path, pathophys (which encompasses pathobiochem, pathoimmuno, pathoblabh blahb blahb).

Everybody's test is different with emphasis.

There is a reason that pharm, and path and micro are much much longer section tha anatomy( i think embryo only gets a few pages), biochem and behavioral are both short etc...
