hmm what do you mean? like how many questions did you actually need to look back to find the answers? well its been a while but I think it was most of them for me. With the scroll box right there it doesnt take much time at all. I had time left over to check all my answers
I agree, I looked back for most of them. However, many of the questions weren't just found directly in the text, there was a little inference so make sure you have some understanding of what the essay is trying to convey.
I hunted for just about every answer and saved the inference questions till the end. After answering all of the easier hunting questions I had a pretty good idea what the entire passage was about and could then go back and answer the inference question (s).
Thanks. I was running out of time, so I was thinking that most people would have to answer without going back much.
When you guys go straight to questions and look for answers, is that your first time reading the passage as you search?
Did you "note" any keyword on scratch paper?
Yeah, when I hunted for answers it was my first time reading through the passage. I only skimmed the passage for like 10 seconds before I began just to have a brief understanding of what the passage is about. I know some people like to write down keywords from each paragraph, but I did not find that helpful to do. It's your preference really.
When I took the test, I read each passage for at least 5 minutes so I have a general idea of what the passage is about and where I may be able to find the answers. When I got to the questions, it was easy to go back and find the correct answers...got me a 21. I tried writing key words but I abandoned that strategy when it was taking to long.
