I'm interested in epidemiology. I just got back from touring Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I loved the faculty who I met with, the admissions director, and location of the school. I have a few questions about the school/program, I'd really appreciate the insight of anyone who's gone through the program or has any thoughts/suggestions.

1) How is the job placement in the epidemiology and biostats departments?
2) How long does it typically take graduates from the epidemiology department to find jobs?
3) I'm thinking of getting a certificate in biostatistics. Do you think the time and money is worth it? Do you think having a certificate would give you a leg up when it comes to finding a job post-graduation?
4) What were some of the best/worst parts of going to school here?

Thanks!
