I was wondering if professional bleaching is safe for someone with sensitive gums, or periodontal problems? Thanks.

Safe ---- YES I would say with confidence. BUt could you use it? Dunno, most people with sensitive teeth find it hard to bleach their teeth. If you rotate the bleach, then an OTC flouride, then it my cut down on some of the sensitivity. But that doesn't work on everyone.....

Just use a lower % and make sure you wipe off any excess that spills out on to your gums. If your teeth get sensitive take a day off. Most brands just require 1 to 2 hours per day. However, some advertise 30 minutes (I think its called Bravo). Ask your dentist about the different options.

javax works okay, just dont forget not to swallow it

Thank you all for your input. I have very sensitive teeth and gum, but still want beautiful white teeth. It's great that there are more options available nowadays.
