questions about digital pics??

Hi everyone
So i FINALLY had someone take some digital pics of me for my apps, but now i am kind of clueless.
I have them on my computer in jpeg format but I dont know what to now...what program do i need to use to crop etc. Any help would be great!

I used Adobe Photoshop to adjust the pics. You can basically use any graphics editing program to adjust the pictures.

you can use a program like MSPaint or Microsoft Photo Editor if you're using windows.

Oh, I forgot to add, after I edited the pictures, I put them on a diskette and took it to Kinko's and used the Kodak photomaker thingy to make a sheet of pictures for $8.
