Do Early decision programs give applicants an better chance to get in the school? (like applying to undergrad programs when we were all in high school)

I don't think EDP is easier. If anything, I think it's harder. Programs reserve the EDP for outstanding students.

i really think this depends on the school. some state schools, MCG for example, have a way higher acceptance rate for EDP verus regular decision (they took 50 plus kids early decision last year :eek: ). I know a girl (n=1) who go in EDP with a 26 MCAT, considerably under their average.

harvard edp, thats probably a different story......
