Has anyone pursued or used their MPH-OHS education in the private sector as well as for federal employment?
My inquiry is based on a desire to cover two bases at once; public health and private sector occupational health/safety opportunities. This degree with OHS specialization seemed like a perfect fit as opposed to pursuing a niche occupational health graduate degree. Of course both degrees seem to need considerable work experience too.
Anyone come across any D.C.'s who have pursued MPH or OHS career paths? I know of a few and D.C. (clinical biomechanics and health science) seems to be a beneficial in learning public health and/or occupational health. Any thoughts?
