I have a few questions about NYCOM for current NYCOM students.
What is the dress code at NYCOM?
How does one participate in the note service? How much does it cost?
Is it hard to find housing around NYCOM? How expensive is it? Do most students share houses/ apartments?
How are the third and forth year rotations set up? Do you get a choice of where you go? Are there any rotations or hospitals that you'd be better off avoiding?
What does everyone do for food? I know that there is no cafeteria.
What is a typical day like? (Time classes start/ end. Amount of time alloted for lunch. Lecture and lab schedules. How late students stay on campus)
I know these are a lot of questions and I probably have tons more but I'd appreciate any info you could give me on NYCOM. Thanks in advance.
