I just got my score for the NBDE part I and am quite surprised and disappointed. I'm probably going to rewrite since I am interested in applying to ortho, but before doing so was hoping someone could shed light on a few questions I have:

1. what is the minimum score required to be considered for ortho specialty
2. does the board score contribute to some percentage of an admission score or is it simply used as a cut-off for admission consideration
3. can i rewrite the test as many times as i want
4. am i at a disadvantage for admission if my record shows that i've written the test multiple times

if anyone could answer any of these questions, that would be amazing. I've been searching for these answers on the forum for a few hours and haven't been able to find any responses that directly address my concerns.
