Do you have to have an established research study or grant to apply for the NIH program? Or can you apply and then find a job with the NIH after?

Hi, LRP ambassador here. You do not have to be an NIH employee to apply, there are both internal and external LRP avenues, but you do need to spend at least half your time in eligible research activities & not be paid by a for-profit institution.
