English is my second language, so I clearly struggle with terminology. However, I feel that for my classmates and friends struggle just as much with random terms. Some are clearly obvious, but I still had to look them up. Feel free to add to the list and hopefully we can all help one another out.

Areolar = loose
Ausculation = clinical term for listening to sounds in the body
Croup = laryngeal bronchitis
Deglutition = swallowing
Denticles = pulp stones
Dyspnea = difficulty breathing
Hematemesis = vomiting blood
Hemoptysis = coughing up blood
Melena = digested blood in stool
RDA = recommended daily allowance
Sputum = mucous or phlegm, mixed with saliva
Stomodeum = primitive mouth
Troche = dissolvable lozenge
