In no way does that quote even compare to clamoring for two younger guys to rassle shirtless after plying them with too much champagne.

ummmmmmmmm... best check yourself, young'un- we were not the ones who suggested the rasslin'. 😉

What if D and I wrestled...things wouldn't just come off, they'd get torn off.

and for the record... this Twin would prefer that it was Evo and Arsenic doing the wrestling (or as I like to call them, Mr. August and Mr. September of my hunks of med school calendar) but you take what you can get. :meanie:

I simply posed a hypothetical, not a suggestion.

Wow you really need to stop, ASAP. 😱

We could always make it a tournament.... 😉

totally down for it. can't afford it. 🙁

my goal is to get back to Europe before starting full-time school. kind of a congrats present to myself if you will...
i am definitely planning on doing that this summer. though it's looking more like it might only be two weeks...but i will still take it. if i'm going to be in school for 7-8 years, damn it i'm going to have a nice vacation first! 😛

hey guy, good morning!

Hey is that your diagnostic score in your signature??? If it is, that's pretty good for starting out. I think you'll score a 35+ score cuz most people with mid and early 20's starting points do. 😀

Good luck 🙂

Ohh and good morning!

OMG one of my dictations I did yesterday has the procedure down as "vaginal prostate." ROFLMAO.

I'm not sure exactly what I said - maybe radical prostatectomy? I never say "radical prostate" but that's the closest thing I can come up with.

That's a classic to go up on the wall in the residents' room. I believe I even like this better than "I am the anterior cervix."

who's that in your avatar???

Mornin' to you too! 😛

I saw this and thought it was pretty cool.

interesting... I've been noticing a lot of my games going to the XML code lately and it makes it really easy to create new scenarios and parts to a game...

I think it's stretching things out of proportion at the end there, but interesting nonetheless...

It's from an Anthropology professor so that might be why. Still an interesting theory.

my sister is doing her thesis in Biological Antrhopology on sexual human behavior... the leaps in logic she makes are interesting, but a bit hard to accept sometimes

English majors know all about logical leaps 😉

I think if I had it to do all over again I'd major in philosophy. I like that the entire major revolves around mental gymnastics and, at least in my limited experience, it really teaches you how to think through things.

Then again I think the pretentiousness of some of the phil majors I knew would have started to piss me off after awhile

You want some mental gymnastics? Major in Physics or Math. Probably some of the most abstract stuff you could think of.

I've never been good at math (though I really love physics - how's that for a contradiction). I like that philosophy is something anyone can do. You don't need a degree to understand philosophical thought.

Okay one more post from a forward I got then I swear I'm going back to biochem:
The Washington Post's Style Invitational asked readers to take any word
from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one
letter, and supply a new definition.

Here are this year's winners:

1. Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright
ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows
little sign of breaking down in the near future.

2. Foreploy (v): Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of
getting laid.

3. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject
financially impotent for an indefinite period.

4. Giraffiti 👎: Vandalism spray-painted very,very high.

5. Sarchasm 👎: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person
who doesn't get it.

6. Inoculatte (v): To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

7. Hipatitis 👎: Terminal coolness.

8. Osteopornosis 👎: A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

9. Karmageddon 👎: its like, when everybody is sending off all these really
bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a
serious bummer.

10 Decafalon (n.): The grueling event of getting through the day consuming
only things that are good for you.

11. Glibido (v): All talk and no action.

12. Dopeler effect 👎: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when
they come at you rapidly.

13. Arachnoleptic fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you've
accidentally walked through a spider web.

14. Beelzebug (n.): Satan in the form of a mosquito that gets into your
bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

15. Caterpallor (n.): The color you turn after finding half a grub in the
fruit you're eating.

And the pick of the literature:

16. Ignoranus 👎: A person who's both stupid and an a--hole.

Ana.... Why are you still taking post-bacc classes? 😕

I'm not. I'm auditing an advanced biochem class because I think it's interesting.

Yeah yeah, I know. Great thing about auditing: when i get tired of it in March I can just say "screw it" and move on with my life.

I was about to ask why don't you audit... it should be a bit of a help in med school 👍 As long as you aren't spending money on it

i wish i was in med school... I'm bored of all this free time and waiting

Whereas I'd be bored of waiting, I'd NEVER regret being bored as a result of free time. I'd rather be bored than actually doing work.

I'd have probably be with you a few years ago... but my computer's specs suck and all the games I want to play are out of my reach... I don't really party anymore either 😛 I'm just waiting on my top-choice in three weeks
