this antarctic bird's mood is doing a 180 turn after a certain phone conversation this AM.... and a f/u email. let's just say I need to kill the 'CAT and things will be looking sky-high. 😀

thanks, guju! my score was skewed a bit from the 'boo's. my verbal was pretty good, need to work on the sciences.

side note- damn it's boring listening to Audio Osmosis in the car. 😴

ok guys im gonna go read and pass out..... ive become such an old man, ive been getting INCREDIBLY TIRED by 1030PM, I dont even remember the last time I was up pass 11 this week. 😱 Thats what weeks of waking up at 530AM do to you. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

ok, i'm getting more excited about this UIUC interview (which i wasn't really sure what to think about before)...i got an email from a professor in bioengineering who said he came across my application among the applications and he would like to meet w/ me to discuss some potential collaborations! yay!

LOL!!! Yeah but the non VR sections are easier to improve. Ok I shouldn't talk about the beast in here.

Ohh and yeah its boring but at least it will stick if its anything like me when I listen to a cd over and over. When I like a certain song or something and I'm driving I'll listen til I get sick of the song or am in the mood for something else and then it gets stuck in my head. I think they should make audio osmosis more in school house rock fashion and have it to music. It would probably be less boring. :laugh: :laugh:

i wonder if it's more dangerous to listen to audio osmosis due to falling asleep or watching the office on your ipod while driving

i'm going to pittsburgh this weekend to see my family & friends. thank goodness for jet blue and their cheap fares yet comfortable flights. 🙂

Morning all!

I had the worst client last night. A full tantrum for 60 minutes. crying, scratching, BITING, kicking, you name it. He bit his dad on the face and left a welt - almost broke the skin. Good thing he had a beard.

*sigh* I had to stay the full hour to get paid. I'm gonna love medicine with shorter appt. times and them coming to ME instead of vice versa.

wow, that sounds incredibly intense!!

in related news...my co-worker is a nurse practitioner, and she was telling me about her experience during her pediatric externship...she said that she was trying to give a kid a shot, and the boy ran away from her, ran in circles around the table, pulled her hair, bit her face, and then hit her across the face. needless to say, she recommended that i should not work in pediatrics. 😛

yeah, all that and more last night.

I recommended a behavioral therapist.

The portable booster chair with tray has become my bes therapy tool as of late.

At this rate, I can see myself as a pediatric anesthesiologist 😉 Then they're asleep!
