Keep in mind the texas schools that adopt that philosophy also ARE NOT AMCAS SCHOOLs!! They have their own system called the TDMAS. A lot of them also don't seem to have secondaries either.

I doubt any AMCAS school will do such a thing unless they all do it together and the AAMC and AMCAS system itself changes on a national scale, or the states start pulling out of amcas and putting together their own app service for their state.

you know how when you first discovered the internet/e-mail you forwarded all the funny jokes and it got annoying to your friends?\

My mom has discovered the internet and loves to forward corny jokes. It's kind of cute, though.

She has especially become proficient at online shopping LOL!

Ooooohhhhh yes, she's discovered Ebay. In fact, that's what put her onto the internet in the first place.

She collects some stuff -- Rookwood pottery, Longaberger Baskets, LLadros, Isabel Blooms, and some other stuff, and she's always on the prowl.

Yeah - chain letters irritate me. Like bad things will happen if I don't forward something on. What if I never got the letter in the first place? I guess I'm doomed!

interesting. whether I mentioned it or not, we went right by the old Rookwood studios when you visited over Labor Day. up on Mt Adams? with the fancy houses overlooking the river? I remember going there with my dad as a kid- they had turned it into a restaurant, and actually had tables set up in the old kilns b/c they were so huge....

No kidding! I remember mom saying something to me when i got back but it didn't register.

I think you can apply to the Texas schools (at least UTSW) through AMCAS if you apply MD/PhD.

In America people will find anything to sue about and more then half the time its greed and they are being irrational.
