Either tonight is not my night or 4R is extra tough! 9 on verbal 😱 including missing 5 in one passage. So far a 6 point decrease over 2 sections from 3R 🙁

Any randomites think 4R was tough?

Edit: I know it's been discussed but search is down.

It's been mostly all blocked from my memory. I know I scored less on 4R than 3R, though. 3R was tied with 9 as my second highest.

I actually went up 2 points on 4R versus 3R (went from a 27 to a 29), though this was after like 2-3 months of studying so 4R could definately have been harder than 3R.

Scores come out TODAY? Why did I think they were released on the 20th? Good Luck peeps! 😍

They might come out today. The MCAT office said a week or two ago they'd be coming out on June 12th or June 13th. Then the main AAMC office said (and posted to the main MCAT website) that they would be coming out June 20th. The offices are different, and each may not know exactly what is going on. So our best bet is just to keep checking over the next week, or check this forum for news of the release.

hope everyone waiting for their scores from April gets wonderful news! Fingers crossed 🙂 :luck:

4r was my lowest AAMC score of them all - by 5 points. Don't stress about it. Just read over your mistakes and move on to the other later AAMC exams. You know you're going to do great anyway! :luck:

4R made me cry. but i felt that vvay about a lot of tests

does anyone knovv vvhat you can cook in a rice cooker... other than rice? i'm experimenting but i keep hearing a POP!

my old laptop keybord used to randomly stop working...but it was usually the m key that didn't work on mine. i actually used that warranty well and replaced my keyboard 3 times on that stupid machine. if yours is still under warranty, they'll probably be able to replace it.

External keyboards are cheap. I'd suggest getting one of those and plug it in to one of your USB ports.
that is also a good call, although using an external keyboard with a laptop can be a pain if your desk is small.

omg ben roethlisberger (pittsburgh steelers quarterback) was in a motorcycle accident this morning...all we know is that he has face and head injuries! i can't believe he would ride without a helmet. would he play football without a helmet???? i hope he's ok...

He should have seen the Jason Williams from Duke story. What an easy way to throw away a good career. Either that or he has disability insurance out the wazoo and wanted to quit.

I feel naked without my belt on. I honestly haven't left a parking lot without it on.

On a side note: I just had a SoBe Liz Blizz Pina Colada. It looks like milk but tastes sooooo good.

yes, of course! I am an always-seat-belt-wearer. I even wear them in the backseat of a cab. I don't know about other areas, but in Boston, it's probably a more dangerous place than any other car...the cabbies here generally drive like mad people.

i doubt he wanted to quit...it seemed like a legitimate accident. and he's been lectured before about not wearing a helmet...but it's not in his contract specifically (he's not supposed to engage in "risky behavior" according to the NFL)

I am a religious seatbelt wearer...I have the bruises and the life to prove it.

I love the newer Fords b/c unless both the driver and the front passenger have their seatbelts on, then the car will make this horrible annoying LOUD beeping noise about every 30 seconds--there's no way to turn it off and it keeps doing it no matter how long you drive. it will def. remind you (and force you) to put your seatbelt on

What kind of safety devices is your scooter equipped with?? 😀

With Fords though you have to weigh this:
Seatbelt reminder or engine that lasts longer than 5 years?

America needs to catch up with the Japanese in the car market immediately or Detroit will be a ghost town.

well my scooter needs a paint job. but anyways it has a headlight and some reflectors.

on a side note: when my lil bro was younger he was going down a huge hill on a scooter and he totally wiped out and messed his face up. Let that be a lesson to all of you!

I'm a religious seatbelt wearer - and I'm even more paranoid when it comes to my kids. My almost 3 year old is still in a rear-facing carseat even though you can legally turn them forward at one year and 20 pounds. She can gain 5 more pounds or grow 3 or 4 more inches until she reaches the rear-facing limit for her seat, though so she will be backwards for probably another 6 months or more. 😉

I saw a scary report on ABC recently about how like 85% or so carseats are not fixtured properly, bc of the complicated instructions and what not...they said the best way to make sure was to go to one of the free checks. you'd think such an important thing used by so many people would have a better safeguard.

True dat. True dat.
