i should still be sleeping now... but someone had to keep calling and calling... and it wasn't even for me!

Does anyone watch King of the Hill? I used to love Family Guy, but really didn't appreciate the increase in needless, tasteless Jesus jokes. So, we don't watch it anymore. Stewie is friggin' hilarious and I have that soundboard thing on my desktop.

But, I have been watching King of the Hill for years. So funny. I just saw a rerun that I have seen a hundred times...but I love it anyway. I was a total Beavis and Butthead freak in college...Mike Judge really is good. Hank Hill has the exact same voice as Anderson from B&B. I perfected that one some years back...I had too much time on my hands.

So, back to the question...King of the Hill, anyone?

Never really peaked my interest for some reason.

As for jesus jokes I guess southpark is out as well. Family hasn't ragged on Jesus that much that I've noticed. More southpark for that. Although I'm sure they've inserted the witty comments as they always do on Family Guy. They need more stewie in that show.

I have never understood South Park. I know that there has been a bunch of controversial stuff in there...everyone talks about it, but it has never interested me. Maybe I am dense, but I have really never gotten it.

I love Stewie too. I wish they would put more of him in the shows. But, like I said, we quit watching...for a while it seemed that there was at least one major scene per episode and they just kept getting more and more offensive to us. I can see past most stuff, but it came down to overlooking something that is the center of our lives and consequently supporting the show. I'll never forget the crap I got from my friends/family for seeing Farenheit 9/11 (Michael Moore). To them, it was that I was supporting him with my $$$. To me, it was research...I was shooting a documentary at the time and wanted to see what apporach he took and with what camera angles. But, I guess it undeniably can be claimed that I "supported" him by paying the $7.50.

As for South Park, I think they're great... clever and hilarious, but only when they're doing social commentary. A lot of their episodes don't really get into anything like that at all, and I don't think those are anywhere near as good. But then again, whatever makes me laugh at the end of the day is worth something...

morning y'all...

well i guess by now it's almost afternoon. i'm busy at work today...we have 3 participants coming in for our study.

close! its type 3, complement is the culprit. thats only in types 2 and 3 so you almost had it. 👍

i'm telling you, you will knock this test out next year with your mad marine med student skillz evo - no worries. 🙂
Ack! You're right. I would have thought type 2 because of the autoantibodies, but I hadn't taken into account the complement activation. 😳

i absolutely love south park. i love that they hold nothing at all sacred. they poke fun at anything and everything, no hold barred. every political view, every religion... the scientology episode was brilliant, and now comedy central won't ever re-air it because of lawsuit threats. sheesh!

Your Meteorologist Mushy will be on the scence with reporters across the nation by her side.

😀

i'll be your south florida correspondent 🙂

i saw the finale of alias this morning... the thing with sloan... 👍 :meanie:

i cant believe what happened to jack though and that new guy on the train 🙁

i still havent seen the episodes of how michael came back from the dead... they are still waiting in my TIVO from a couple of weeks ago.

overall... decent finish, could have been better but at least it was 2 hours and not like the 1 hour series finale NBC gave to west wing.

did jack die?

i dont' want to see the alias finale, i just want to know how it ends.

MAJOR SPOILERS (HIGHLIGHT TO SEE IT):

yes, jack dies. sloane finds rambaldi's tomb and is about to become immortal or something when sydney finds him and shoots him in the head. :meanie: you think sloane is dead and they move on to other scenes but he falls in this pool of red water within the tomb and that brings him back to life later. like, he literally stands up after getting shot in the head and chest. he's about to walk out of the tomb and is all pleased with himself for becoming immortal when jack walks in on him. jack had been shot in the chest a few minutes earlier by sloane before sydney took out sloane. sloane says something to jack like "you're too late, you cant beat me" and then jack says something like, "i know but i can keep you here". with that jack detonates a strip of bombs he was carrying, killing himself ( 🙁 ) but bringing down the tomb all around him and sloane. so in the end sloane ends up becoming immortal but hes trapped beneath all this rock underground and cant get out. he's been hallucinating and seeing nadia's ghost all throughout the episode and when he sees her now that he's trapped beneath the rocks he says "nadia, at least i have you" and with that nadia's ghost says something like "i dont think so" and walks away and disappears. :meanie: :meanie: :meanie: sloane than starts wimpering something like "nadia, no... .no....."

what else happens:

-the new guy that was brought in this season dies (sacrified himself to save people from a bomb that had been placed in the LA subway by sloane's people)
-syd's mother dies after fighting syd
- all the members of prophet 5 are assasinated by sloane's people
- michael and sydney get a house on the beach and have a baby boy named jack to go along with their now ~8 year old girl. (ending jumps ahead in time). one of the final scenes is the daughter constructing the 3D puzzle that sydney completed when she was a child that is an indicator of a gifted agent. 😱 😎

-everyone else lives happily ever after. 👍

thanks for the hug, Q!! 😀

ps: mushy, i'll be your new england correspondent....though not much happens in the way of hurricanes here in NE.

Come out to Oklahoma. We have summer already 🙁

btw mush, i set up my myspace preferences the way you did. now when people want to add me as their friend they need to provide either my last name or email address to confirm that i know them before the site processes the friend request. its crazy, i had gotten like 10 friend requests from strippers with their own XXX sites in the last 5 days. 😱

Yeah A - I didn't like that at all. I have some people that were trying to add me and I don't want that. :meanie:

I'm so sick of politics. What rights do Americans really want? Do you want COMPLETE and utter freedom with no gov't or do you want the gov't to protect you? I hate politics. 🙁

ugh, SO much rain lately. i can't take it. oh spring, where are you hiding??

it's nice and sunny back home, great for my plants. but so windy! and then its cold at night... i sleep with a sweater on and i kept my fleece sheets and goose down out

what about politics is making you mad? the whole corruption/legal-illegality of going through the rep's office?

i re-read that article at the end of the US News Grad School rankings edition. I want to show that to my cousin and all those snobs who think just cause you go to a school for the name, doesn't mean you're getting the education you should be getting

I'm soooooooo lost with all your conversations. But on the weather note, it seems like the clouds have been having a hard time deciding whether to pour down the rain or not rain today. Seriously, like one or two drops will drop but not enough to open your umbrella. But still enough to annoy you. Plus its humid out today.

I'm predicting rain in the night.

Hello SDN friends! I am in Joliet, IL. The movers loaded up my house today - it was very sad. I dashed out of town and drove part way to Michigan. My hotel is nice. There are casinos nearby, which I am thinking about visiting, but have gotten unsure since there are billions of signs around about locking your doors, locking your car, hiding your valuables, security cameras, etc. Gives the impression that this is a rough area. 😱

I also am totally beat and would be up for a night of internet action but I have the world's slowest internet connection. Seriously. I just ate my dinner waiting for this page to load. I was going to post some new pics to my myspace. 🙂

I would love to be part of the meterologist network as well! I LOVE weather. Tomorrow should be a slightly less busy day since all I have to do is drive five hours. My CD player broke in my car though.
