I don't like walmart but I go. Its the only place to get some items but I thinkt hey get all the stale stuff honestly. I don't buy fruit, veggies, meat or that stuff there. And I just bought cheetos last week there that expired already 🙁 BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Yeah, I'm with you on the meat. And I always check the date on pre-packaged foods because I've gotten so many outdated things there. I actually got potato chips once that I think were literally a year old (at least) because they were all rancid.

I got the skirt. 😀 I got it in dark brown, though. It's not lined so the white one was a little see-through - not good!!! 😱

And I got a dress for the baby at Baby Gap. I couldn't help it. 😉 It'll look really cute with a dress that my sister got for my older daughter. I think I'll have their pictures taken in the dresses together.

I am not a virgin; I was 20 or 21 and engaged to my ex. I don't have a problem with pre-marital sex, actually, just pre-marital pregnancy and childbirth. :idea: I have had two cavities and I have caused a car accident as well as been rear-ended by an idiot teenager who was talking on her cell phone and didn't realize that I was stopped. 🙄 And now I have to read the stupid 2006 scores thread to see what y'all have been up to....don't make me discipline the whole Amish gang for roughing up kids in the MCAT forum, ladies. 😛

CUTE-NESS! 😀 My nephew does that. Well a slightly more dangerous version of that. He jumps off his bed onto his face repeatedly.

How cute - he's gonna be just as smart as his aunt monkey. :laugh:

Stories like this make me so glad I have daughters. :laugh: I've babysat for little boys and they about give me a heart attack - climbing onto the window sills then throwing themselves onto the couch below, only to roll down to the floor. At this point I'm sure they must be unconscious but they just get up, laugh, and do it again ...

I'm very, very, very glad that I have girls .....

I saw this Dateline special tonight about this woman who died of meninigitis after having an epi placed during childbirth. It was a sad story.

The most maddening thing was that there was a doctor's order for an antibiotic but the nurse never delivered it. Does that sound suspect to anyone else? Dumb Nurse!! Give her the antibiotic!!

In your defense, just in case any nurses are reading this - that one particular nurse was an idiot - not the whole profession 😉

Does anyone else here love to look at house plan magazines?

I usually make one weekend night a "fluff" night and buy a magazine or 2 and for the past few years I find myself with house plan magazines or some home improvement-type magazine.

We thought about some land a while back, but we decided to save our money at this point. But, I love to look at the different styles and floorplans, especially the nice big luxury log homes.

I'm such a nerd, but I love to dream!

You girls better NOT make my job exciting, or I'm going to disband the gang. 😡 :laugh: No, but seriously, I'm reading this thread going, ok, I'd better go take a look before someone starts complaining and I have to shut down the whole thing, and then I read it, and it's no big deal. :laugh:

I'm off to bed too. Tomorrow is my first day in the clinic. I'll let you all know how it goes. Maybe I can like deliver a baby or something. (Just kidding; it's a family practice office, and they don't do that stuff any more.)

I've already scored some awesome stuff from the drug reps (no, not drugs, girls!!!) So far the best is a Netter's Cardiology I think, or maybe a CD of various heart sounds. Free stuff rules. 👍

OMG, that's gorgeous!!

My husband and I like to go look at model homes in new developments for fun. 🙂 We especially like going to the really expensive new developments. Ahh, yes we are definitely upgrading in terms of house one more time when I have a physician's salary. 😀

We found one development that always had fresh-baked cookies in the models. I think we went back there three or four weekends in a row. :laugh:

Haha, you reminded me that the OB/Gyn I shadowed offered me a free sample of Seasonale - so I could have the cute little pink bag that they come in. It would make a perfect make-up bag. I declined, though. 😉

What are you doing in clinic?? You should be avoiding clinic before you have to start med school!! :laugh:
