A....you should cook that placenta for about 10 minutes.....good with ketchup

I cannot tell how you how much time I have spent the last few weeks tugging on umbilical cords trying to get placentas come out.

I tried to respond to all this stuff in Thread 1 but couldn't!

Hey, I will never have to pull out another placenta again!!!

Never wear a short white coat again!

Will get to cut up lots of placentas in the nice gross room once they are removed from woman's body by some other poor soul

admit it beary, you know which forum is home to your favorite random thread. :meanie:

The path random thread has been extremely quiet lately. People used to post on there all the time. Actually, the path forum as a whole has gotten much less active. We had a little flurry of activity around Match but that's been about it.

you soooooooooooo avoided the question

Placentas are really disgusting. I just thought I would let you folks know that. For those of you doing ob/gyn in the future, a helpful tip -

Even if the baby's head is coming out right then and you really want to catch the baby put your gown on FIRST and then SEAL your gloves over your gown. Do not get all excited, put on gloves first, and then put on gown, as gown will work its way up your arm leaving you defenseless against the placenta.
