Whoa! I didn't know you had a cyst like that. What symptoms have you had - how did you find it? (If you don't mind sharing).

I had a big (11x13 cm) benign ovarian tumor removed a few years ago. Now I want to post its ultrasound. My friends and I named it Timmy. :meanie:

word, that is a big cyst, ana.

i don't watch GA...the only doctor-related show i like is scrubs, and only b/c it's funny.

That one is about 2xs the size of mine. I had really bad headaches so the neurologist ordered an MRI and BAM - huge thing in my head. When I told people I got a couple of emails that said, "MK, we knew there was something in your head, tell us something we didn't know." :meanie:

That's what my angiogram was for - my family has a history of aneurisms and while it would be a huge one (my cyst is about 1.5 cm) they just wanted to check.

All clear - the radiologist diagnosed it as an Arachnoid cyst.

I'm a nerd when I'm drunk, too! We should get together... who knows what amazing discoveries we could come up with!

There is somewhere an audio tape extant of me freshman year in college, completely plastered as only a freshman can be, rambling on and on and on about the collected works of Robert Heinlein and how his treatment of his female characters evolves over 45 years of writing. I pause briefly to puke, but continue soldiering on afterwards.

:laugh: I actually wish I had the tape!

I would pay good money to see that. :laugh:

He also comments that it was the first night he ever heard me curse because we were talking about politics and I called him a "fvckwad" - he's never let me live it down either.
