Well, she has an ear infection - poor baby!

That's my older daughter in the avatar when she was 6 months old. That's my favorite picture of her. She actually won a picture contest with that one. 😉 I have a cute pic of the baby in my profile. 🙂

Packers come on Monday, load here on Tuesday, close here Wednesday morning, then drive eight hours to Ann Arbor, close in Ann Arbor on Thursday, clean new house, unload in AA on Friday. :scared:

At least it will be nice to see my new house. 🙂 And I'm only a few blocks away from that little shrimp that we're gonnna beat up.

just chillin'--putting some new songs on my ipod. it's been nice to not have to stress about school this week. congrats on getting your reaction to work--now get your booty outta that lab!

You've already taken organic, right? Will you read my NMR post in the subforum and tell me if you think it's comprehensible? I'm worried that maybe it's too detailed....

I think my husband has too much time on his hands. He was downstairs watching the kids while I exercised upstairs. I came back and went to use my computer and he has changed all of my sounds.

OMG .... I guess the kids weren't too crabby for him today! :laugh:

Mine isn't a fun picture. I should have my husband take some pics of me. I'm always the one with the camera so I hardly have any pics of myself.

BEARY!! I like your pic! hey--you can just go to my page and at the end of the survey there is a link that says "take this survey" you fill in your answers and it gives you a code to paste into your page. you should take it 🙂

LOL Beary - just saw your comment on myspace. My husband changed the sounds on my computer, not my myspace page. Like my incoming mail sound is weird, I hear "What is the Matrix?" when my screensaver comes up, and my computer farts at me if I use any of the browser buttons. 😉

I always think for a second that Nikki is Amish, and then I realize we probably wouldn't be talking to her on SDN and myspace if that were the case. :laugh:

Geez, I am getting really sad about moving. I feel like I am leaving my entire life behind. 🙁 I really hated the last year of med school and have been so happy to get done, but now it is hitting me how many other things I am leaving.

OK I will stop being so emotional. I'm not an emotional person normally.

You know, the Amish youth are given a chance to experience the world as adolescents if they want....interestingly, most return to their communities and continue on in their traditional ways. So maybe she's one of these rebellious Amish youths, and one day she'll realize the old ways are best, and we'll never see her here again. 😛

i watched a reality show about that once--those girls go absolutely crazy--party it up every night

One of our first assignments in nursing school was to do these role-playing type presentations about different cultural/religious/ethnic backgrounds patients might have. One group chose to present about the Amish.

Even though we ALL were making things up, about half our class thought the girl who played the Amish person really was Amish for a good six months afterward. :laugh:
