It's just something I caught from one of the little ones I work with. One specifically I worked with on Thursday and Friday last week had a severe cold and at some point probably gave it to me.

The symptoms of sore throat and sneezing started on Sunday night (2 day incubation period) and were full-force yesterday and today.

Just one of those killer summer colds, although I also have fluid in my ears so every time I blow my nose and the middle ear pressure changes the fluid sucks my eardrums in. That and I can't hear very well today. I suspect bilateral ear infection might follow if I'm really unlucky.

Yeah, no doubt! It's been strange without mushy and lili posting. And where's bananaface? She was in and out again!

The MCAT, summer classes, and illness are keeping people away. Curses!

So, are you done with summer classes now J?

I 😍 the St. Louis zoo!

We used to go there on class fieldtrips in the spring from grade 1-8.

Plus, it's free! My favorite is the elephant area. I just love Forest Park period.

yeah, that 3 whole days just about killed me. :laugh:

since I got waitlisted for the summer class, I had also registered for the same class for fall, anticipating dropping one of them. so now I just have to drop my bio elective from my fall schedule instead. (of course they already sent me the bill..)

my office is 2 blocks from FP. I make one of my clients walk over there with me sometimes (17 y/o). this is our 5th summer of Muny season tix 😍 we go on Sundays this year, except for this week b/c of a conflict- we're going Thurs. And of course on Thurs- high of 101. Freaking sauna. We've lucked out over the years- it's only been that bad once before that I can remember.

Ha, I know what you mean. I had an MCAT nightmare last night. I dreamed I got a 8-10-8...but, it didn't make any sense cause the report said 28 in my dream. Either way...still a nightmare. :scared:

I totally know what you mean. Even after I graduated med school, I still dreamt about clinics, etc. every night. Until now, when it is replaced with residency dreams. 🙄

I have brain cutting at noon which I TOTALLY forgot about until just now.

I want to go home early today. But will I get paged as soon as I leave if I sneak out? :scared:

Thanks Brett. Today I am off, but I have to go to go get my yearly eye exam and do run a lot of errands. Ugh! I am taking a (my first since April)practice test this Thursday either way!

G/L! I took one on Sunday and didn't do as well as I had hoped. Kinda bummed me out a little bit but then I shrugged it off since it wasn't AAMC and I had been doing well on those.

Hey guys. I'm doing better, but stomach still not up. Neither is the energy either. So its just rest. Apparently I was alot sicker than I orginally thought. Plus my AC had issues as well. The in laws came up and took care of me last night by brining a window unit and my FIL looking at my AC and making some adjusments.
Hopefully with it being 104 here I can keep my house under 80 🙁

i just got home from the hospital. i was able to leave early today! 😀 the mail hasnt gotten here yet so my score might just get here today! i only know 1 other 3rd year that hasnt gotten it yet. damn lazy local post offices. :laugh:

Ugh! I think the storms last night really cooled it down.

Tonight I am going to be able to sit out on my porch!!

Only problem with my porch is I don't have wireless so can't post on SDN from there. 😉
