Nope!! 😀

Daily Coke usage is so prevalent they just put it in vending machines. 😛

The power is finally all back on and there was just a mad rush to the vending machines. I had to wait in line.

It's 104 here. I am waiting for the devil with his little pitch fork to knock on the front door asking for a glass of ice water. 😱

😱 That is hot. I wouldn't go outside all day.

I got covered parking today so I won't burn my a@@ off when I get in the car.

Arsenic - that just made me laugh out loud, literally. I am in the HO office and all the other HOs gave me funny looks.

I very much like your plan. :hardy:

Ugh! I think the storms last night really cooled it down.

Tonight I am going to be able to sit out on my porch!!

Only problem with my porch is I don't have wireless so can't post on SDN from there. 😉

You need to get a longer ethernet cable. 😉

i'm gonna need a PGY1 to sign off on it though, i wonder who.

Gladly!!

beary, MD, PhD, HO-1 😀

I really want some of you folks to come up to U Mich. Even for away rotations or something (like a path elective!) We would have so much fun.

beary, I was watching the Tyra Banks show today and she had a dermatologist do cultures of some audience member's makeup to show why you shouldn't keep it more than 6 months to a year.

She had E. coli on her lipstick and S. aureus on her eyelash curler.

Nasty!

Ironmanf14: sorry i took so long to reply to your question, the posters are for respiration in particular the krebs cycle, link reaction, glycolysis. Each has its own coloured chart they were fun to make and make memorising alot easier. Now i have an essay question to do on respiration for tomorrow, which should be fun, i love respiration and most of bio not too fond of the plant aspect though.

But I'm in a good mood because i just found out my friend had her baby boy last night!! I'm going to go see her tonight. 😀

Why? What's wrong? 🙁

I was feeling sorry for myself this morning too. You need a Coke. 😀

Have fun with the baby!

Just the usual - the girls are driving me insane and my husband made me mad this morning. 🙁

And I am currently drinking a Dr. Pepper - it has definitely helped. 😀

Ok, off to read my book. Actually unpacked a couple of boxes today. Of course, then we found out that one cannot successfuly place a nail into the walls of the foyer of our home. Old houses...love 'em, but would love 'em more with stuff on the walls. This is going to be interesting.

Still micro. I switch to surg path Aug 1.

I was sort of looking forward to autopsy but nearly dropped today in the morgue. :scared:
so are you reading blood/csf cultures, etc? i think they told us that a computer is constantly monitoring the blood cultures at our hospital but its the csf and urine cultures that have to be read by people.
