I would be busy at work but here I'm not busy. I'm just bored. I think I'll go eat but I don't know WHERE to eat. I don't have a kitchen area to eat so I guess I'll just walk around and wolf down my meal. 2.5 hrs down, 3.5 hrs to go ....

i took it for 12 years...you think that would make me fluent...well, i might have been when i graduated from HS, but definitely not now. 🙁

well I was here in my lab till 1am last night and then had to be up at 7 to shadow a doc, and now im back in the lab finishing up an experiment.
My cells were stainign now so I had time to run down and get a sandwich. ....the life of a premed!

i've totally ate in every lab ever. he he! in the middle of an o-chem experiment? it's all good have a cracker.

i learned a few things when i was staying with my friend who happens to be a pilot for lufthansa...

he and his friends always said to me, "du bist so schlank" or something around there...i thought it might be a compliment but apparently it means that i'm really short. 🙁

seriously brett start that thread--only tonight i will not be able to attend. one of my friends is getting married tomorrow (i'm the maid of honor--woo hoo) and we're gonna go have a little fun tonight *evil laugh*

My ex-boyfriend used to keep talking to me in Portuguese every time he got off the phone with his family. It was pretty funny. I could understand most of what he was saying (being able to speak back was a different issue) so one time I just let him keep going as long as I could... 45 minutes later he suddenly looked at me with utter confusion on his face. It was classic.

yeah it's super cheap to stay around here--and actually there are a ton of nice conference rooms. you could probably all crash at my house ((just kidding!!))

After further thought, a thread to post in about not posting in a thread is pretty counterproductive.
I think an IP ban would be much more helpful for the both of us :meanie:

haha, my gf just nods and smiles when I speak Polish to her by mistake.

when i was in the dominican, a patient was talking to me in spanish.

i translated it in my head and figured out my answer.

and dumb me responded in japanese.

HA!
