Well, I think that's one of the great things about WoW. You can get whatever out of it you want. You can have low level characters and just do little local quests that take very little time. You can do huge worldwide quests that take a lot longer. You can spend time in battlegrounds playing against other players (this is what I spend most of my time doing). As you progress towards level 60, most folks start spending time "raiding" which basically are quests that require up to 40 folks working together.

I was going to take my tauren to 60 (which is going to take a long time - leveling really slows down around 50) and then just work on honor and switch to other characters. But they're coming out with an expansion pack raising the level cap to 70 and adding a whole new continent.
i've never tried it beary but if i started getting into it i'd never graduate from med school. i can only handle so many distractions.

Ugh. That stuff comes in capsules now.

Hey, a whole bunch of new folks posted tonight in the path forum!

don't envy me A-man. ENVY THE STEAK!

I know a bunch of people in here read Natalie Dee, but does anyone read other webcomics?

A couple of my faves:

Questionable Content

When I first found this a few months ago, I stayed up half the night reading through the archives. It rocks!

Evil Inc.

You kinda have to start at the beginning to get this one, but it's pretty cool. What can I say, I like superheroes. 😳

Wondermark

Fun and inventive. Sorta similar to Natalie Dee's offshoot Married to the Sea, but I don't know which was chicken and which was egg.

Death of the Party

Not updated often enough, but the guy's from UW-Madison and this was in the campus paper for a long time and it's pretty funny.

Everyone Drunk But Me

Same story here. The ones where she was a foreign exchange student in Russia were awesome.

Anyway, if you're bored and looking for something fun to do, check them out!

If you know of any good ones I didn't mention, let me know!

beary, have you worked with yaah at all yet or is he doing totally different stuff as a PGY3?

I have met him and seen him around but not worked with him at all. Right now he's doing totally different stuff. I don't know if later on in the year he may be a senior resident on a service where I'm the junior.

Hey Guju, are you still in Wisconsin??

<<waves at you from Madison>>

Yup. I went to some park today where we got to see Lake Michigan. It was like a little beach but it smelled soooooooo horribly though the water looked this gorgeous shade of blue and the park behind it was pretty cool with its trails.

Other then that I reviewed old practice tests I took.

I was in Madison last night for a party. We are actually at Grafton near Milwaukee or part of Milwaukee. i think its a suburb but I'm not sure.

Madison is only like an hour and a half drive from my aunt/uncle's house.

Their son goes to UWisconsin Madison for undergrad, and the friend who's house they took us to on 4th of July, in Madison, works at MCW.

The drive from Chicago was only like 2.5 hours which wasn't that bad.

Oh, sure, I know where Grafton is. I'm orginally from the Milwaukee area.

Hope you've cooled off. Today was gorgeous!

I don't know what a rush is. A twink is somebody who is totally pimped out with gear.
Ah so not the same thing. I don't think bnet even has a word for that. Rush is when you take your friend's char - rush it all the way through hell, then do the exp point and skill point quests so that they start out the game at about lvl 15 or so.

you had originally closed it before 10,000? thats just wrong. 😛

dont worry q, we've had threads hit over 90,000 posts before the 10,000 post limit, the server wont crash all at once. 10,000 is just a nice round number so thats why the admins chose it.

http://drslounge.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=37855

check that thread count out, over 90,000. 😱
I wasn't worried. I had to go walk the dog. 😳
