As far as I can tell, Pritzker has the latest start of all medschools. We don't officially start orientation until the 17th (I'm taking an optional week-long class that starts the 11th), and then classes don't actually begin until the 25th.

On the other hand, classes last until mid-June.

I've never gone to a school that used the quarter system before. It'll be interesting.

I gotta get going...need to take a nap before I leave for a doc appt out of town. I soooooo don't want to drive all that way today, but oh well...she's a great doc.

They are currently planning the same weekend to my knowledge. The SDN conference planning is going very slow (unless things are happening behind the scene which I'm sure something is going on). But they were looking at beginning of June for various reasons. This conference will not be tied with OPM either (like one big conference)

i dunno how much each is exactly but i'm paying $114 a month!! 😱

My cells are contaminated. Today just isn't my day. ALL of our cells are contaminated somehow but I still have to do this 6 hr experiment 😎 Kinda pointless at this point. Mcyoplasm is bad. I wish it had been a fungus then I def wouldn't have to do it. 🙁

Yeah that's about what we pay too, actually no wait. Maybe its cheaper. THey charge you for basic cable which they have divided into tiers 😡 We have a DVR which is nice. I think ours is like $130/mn if we changed our phone over to them. Right now I'm guess its like $80 maybe? 😳 I don't pay thebills 😉

It was a good class. Also learned about HSA's in other countries and this was about the time Bush was presenting health care policies etc. My teacher was going down to DC to testify and present at various hearings down there. Cool times.

Oh well (about the cells). We'll have to start fresh on monday. THe lab tech is out today so I'm doing this all by myself. I could start the new cells but we have to make fresh media if its the media that's tainted. SOOOOOO I'm testing the media but if its the incubator that is contaminated, that's not going to help us much now is it? 😎

Gah. Troubleshooting sucks 95% of the time.

The 5% of the time you have a crazy idea that turns out to be good, it's awesome.
