the nice thing is that our shelf grade is curved so we're not really stressing it TOO much. as long as we do as good as eachother we'll be good. its worth a bigger % of our grade now that the oral has been eliminated but we're all happy we dont have an oral to deal with.

i dont think so, the thread usually dies out at this time most days. ok beary, i guess i'm gonna sign off too. i need to be at school tomorrow at 9. have a good saturday, HO!

oh, and i forgot to tell you but your niece is an absolute doll. really, kids dont get cuter than that. 🙂

think blueprint just came out with new printed editions. Just published this week.


I like NICU but the hours are rough. practice I'm shadowing has 8 docs, 4 at each hopsital covvered. Its private, but call is q4 and one weekend a month. plus rounding everyday. That's alot of time away from your family ... and make me wonder if I'll be able to even do what I want to do. I like the private practice over something say peditrix just because qualityf of care isn't there and you'r ejust a corporate go getter. Or maybe more academic medicine would be my fit. I suppose we'll see in a few years.

tired. sleeping wasn't well for this jedi. 🙁 very fitful. But at least I get to go see a movie in a little. then I can nap this afternoon.


Next weekend its going to be 100 for most of the Thurs-Sun 🙁 My house will bake me.

Oh Mush! I'm sorry...I know how it is...I don't think I slept through the night the entire time hubby was gone. 👎 I always took a nap in the afternoon. Somehow, it was easier to sleep when it was light outside. Do you not have A/C?

Yes, my dad still can't get over that because it wasn't when he was coming up. (mid sixties - didn't even have match at that point. I think he got offers from several residencies and picked the one he wanted).

Oxeye: You want OB/GYN right? I know you want to be a breaststicks specialist. :meanie:

Good - thought I was the only one who did stuff like that. My dad laughs at me when I try to contort and listen to my own breath sounds through the back.

I did ok until last night. Just got late txt messages and this new diet I started I think was part of it. I had taken ambien and didn't help. I'll take something else tonight. Then got messages at like 5:30am from the man getting ready to round. been up since then. Now I'm off to see a movie with Dr. Mom and her family. Pirates 🙂 Then spend the day cuddling with the kitties. THey are affectionate since I haven't been around much. Hopefully the sleepig will get better tonight. I wanted the man to come home next weekend. Found tickets for $400 R/T but we can't afford it. 🙁 20 days.


oh and we have AC but this house is VERY poor insulated. In the summer no matter what temp we have it set (usually like 70) it still gets to be like 77 in the livingroom/kitchen area (main area of the house). I might go buy yet another fan this week to keep the air flowing. We have two ceiling fans and one big fan. I might grab another one ...

I have friends who matched in rad onco in 2005. Well they are children of my parents friends. One graduated it 2005 and the other graduated in 1999 from the same medical school. They are siblings.
