3rd time is a charm! 🙂 Welcome to the best thread on SDN: The Random Non-MCAT thread--PART 3!

This is a place to chill and talk about anything besides the MCAT. 😎

So I have been informed by my boyfriend that I am not allowed to check SDN while I am visiting him. 😡 Maybe it's for the best because pre-allo was starting to stress me out.

On a side note, I went over the the lounge tonight and there are all these threads with acronyms in the title like Y!IFMBA and HMTHYK or something... what ARE those?

i think they mean "yay! I found my broken antenna" and "how many threads have you killed"

when are u visiting?? congrats again on your interviews!!!!!!

AFAIK (As Far As I Know):

Y!IFMBA: Yay! I Found My Broken Antenna (or fixed it... something like that).

HMTHYK: How Many Threads Have You Killed.

I might be wrong on these, but that's what I've gleaned.

P.S. - Sorry, nik, you're just going to have to be a little faster on the ball.

So what's the point of those threads? Or is the point that there is none? :meanie: Can I post in there or will I get shouted at by the regulars?

Nikki: I'm visiting this weekend. Leaving tommorrow. So this is my last SDN fix for awhile.

After figuring out how much it's going to cost me to interview I had decided the only interviews I want now are these:
Mich - So I can visit Beary.
Northwestern - So I can visit MM
GW - So I can visit PW
Baylor - so I have a place to go next year :meanie:
UTSA - so I stalk... I mean visit Evo.
Vanderbilt - So I can visit friends...
Emory - So I can visit friends...

That is all - all other schools can just send me rejections or random offers of cash. Whatever suits them. :meanie:

I rarely go into pre-allo. Those people frighten me :scared:

I just saw the saddest thing on tv tonight. Some poor guy had a surgical cloth left inside his chest and it made his insides go gangreen 😱

also, has anyone been following the "my wish" series on sportscenter? It's ridiculously awesome

What about visiting me? *sniff sniff*

It's not my fault the school I'm applying to pretty much only takes residents of its own state. 🙁

and the laps with rings were made i think with the thought that if it were stuck in there, you'd find it in the post-op films
