Brett, I'd go with oxeye's advice... I'd also check the balance daily until Monday (if they don't charge you for it) just to monitor the situation.

Oh definitely. But at least for the time being I don't think we would get involved militarily. My impression is that Israel has quite a bit of military might.

I love my backyard. It's 95 degrees here today but our backyard faces east so it's shaded by the house in the afternoon. It's miserable out back in the morning but the afternoons are perfect. I can just hang out on the deck and watch the girls and the doggies (until my laptop battery dies anyway).

Are your kids going to play sports?

I know water polo is big out in Ca. I played water polo and swam in high school, our team dominated Pa in both.

My brother and sister were named player of the year at the state tourny in their respective years...they also went on to play div. 1 sports with full rides.

Although I played sports in high school, I was the "studious" loser of the family 😳

and iran and syria backing lebanon. thats why we need this freaking situation to cool down before things go to far. israel bombed the headquarters of hezbollah today. so far its just been israel and lebanon, thankfully israel hasnt gone after syria and iran yet which are the ones behind hezbollah.

I love those games too. Risk especially. More complicated than Risk (Axis and Allies, for example) and I start to lose interest in the details. Risk is perfect. 🙂

it does but if there was a war with israel we would almost have to get involved, israel is too important to us in the middle east. the only thing that i think would stop us, at least initially would be the fact that iran would get involved and then things would really get crazy. thats why this crap has to END NOW.

you sound like a really good parent 🙂 I hope I encourage my kids to become active and/or play sports, or some sort of team activity. Playing sports had such a positive impact on my life. I have a fear of my children becoming hermits or not having friends

ok, goodnight guys. i'm gonna go read up on pedi and then go to sleep. the downside of being on wards in this rotation is that we've got to be in the hospital on saturdays. plus i'm on call tomorrow. plus its my nephews 2nd birthday party. plus my step 1 score will probably be delivered. crazy day, i have to find a way to make it home and check the mail somewhere within all of that. am i nervous? at this point i'm freaking terrified..... , i just want to know already and looking at the USMLE forum A LOT of people got their scores today. 🙁

A lot of insurances will pay at least part of it.......in any event better safe than sorry 🙁

well unless you have awesome insurance, it's probably going to cost you more. Do you have your insurance card handy--you could call......or just call the urgent care center and they can look up the price for you

Well I'm just thinking they're probably the only doctors offices open on Saturday around here. There seems to be alot of them. I'm just not getting that much better and the man thinks abx might be in order. *sigh*

I have to go rumage around for that. Luckily I have two insurance right nwo (the other one ends in August) and the one that runs out is the one that I think would be taken at this one clinic I found. I have a doctors appt for a physical on monday But its 75 miles away, I might have to take the bus if they offer it. *sigh*

My MIL offered to come up and take care of me ... 😍 and my mom feels guilty she's not here to take care of me. So does the hubby. I'm a horrible patient. Hope that you don't get me in your hospitals, I'm so cranky and whiny and needy.
