thatd be great lili, i'm taking a break now to get something to eat but i have to go back to reviewing pelvic anatomy before tomorrows surg. if you want you can email it to me and i'll try to read it during some down time these next couple days, no promises but if i have time to post something on sdn i have time to read your PS. 🙂

man do i hate the pelvis, it is one of the busiest regions in the body. whatever, i figure if i at least review the basic anatomy, ligaments, blood supplies etc i wont look like an idiot tomorrow in case my friends mom asks me a question during the surgery.... which she probably will just cause shes a really good attending and thats what shes supposed to do.

i'm pm you lil. yeah, my first time in the OR was 4 weeks ago.... i totally fell in love with it. if i end up going that route you know thats gonna go into my personal statement for residency applications. something like, "i never realized how much i loved surgery until i actually scrubbed in for the first time and felt a rush....." something along those lines will be good for explaining why i havent been in surgical groups etc since freshman year. this is good though, i still have a lot of time to build up my CV and app for residency so i'm really really really really glad i took OB/Gyn at the beginning of the year.

yeah, so for the record- the kid was never taken to the hospital, the mom never followed up with me as I requested, and when I saw the kid that Thurs, she'd been out of her Abilify, Cymbalta, and Adderall for 5 days b/c mom "forgot" to fill the scripts.

seriously, I hate parents. not mine, of course- just in general.
